My client is currently looking for an Unqualified Forensic Advocate to join their Team in North London.

As a Forensic Advocate, you will provide independent, high-quality advocacy to patients across 12 forensic wards and community clinics. Your work will ensure that every patient’s voice is heard, their rights are respected, and they are supported in making informed decisions about their care.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver professional advocacy support to patients, helping them understand and exercise their rights
Attend patient forums, ward meetings, and care planning meetings to provide representation and follow-up support
Maintain a dynamic caseload across hospital and community settings, with accurate and timely record-keeping
Promote self-advocacy and co-develop peer advocacy training for service users
Build strong referral pathways and relationships with clinical teams and external partners
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation
Deliver outreach sessions and contribute to service development through collaboration and feedback
Support carer forums and help shape carer-specific resources
