A forward-thinking consultancy, operating within the healthcare and commercial sectors, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic project delivery team. Based between Hertfordshire and London, the Project Manager will take full ownership of projects from inception to completion, working in highly regulated and technical environments. As a key member of the delivery team, the Project Manager will work across multiple construction and refurbishment projects, managing internal and external teams while ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and contractual obligations. The Project Manager’s role

The Project Manager will oversee all project stages, from pre-construction planning to final handover. Responsibilities include stakeholder liaison, programme management, technical commissioning, risk mitigation, and procurement oversight. The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams, facilitate site decommissioning and departmental relocations, and ensure regular reporting to senior management.

You will be responsible for chairing meetings, coordinating technical specifications, and ensuring all works align with project milestones and budget constraints. The Project Manager will also mentor junior team members and promote best practice throughout each phase of the project.

The Project Manager

Proven experience in healthcare and/or commercial construction projects

Degree in construction, engineering, or a related field

Professional qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, RICS, or CIOB

Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to interpret technical drawings and lead commissioning processes
