About the role

Booker Group is looking for a part-time Internal Communications Co-ordinator to join our Media & Communications team. The role will be require working from our Wellingborough office 1 day per week, with flexible hybrid-working options available from home or other Booker sites.

This is a 20 hour per week vacancy, with candidates able to share preference on their working days at interview stage.

This role will support our Internal Communications Manager in creating engaging content for our 15,000+ colleagues across the Booker Group, and delivering key projects for the business.

You will be responsible for

Helping the Internal Communications Manager to create, maintain, develop and deliver an engaging internal communications plan to our business – including our weekly colleague newsletter, videos, standalone emails and our colleagues intranet.
Creating clear and consistent framework and templates for internal comms.
Supporting with uploads to our colleague intranet.
Working cross-functionally with internal teams (Sustainability, People, Trading etc.) to land meaningful and engaging business comms.
Supporting with our DEI messaging to colleagues.
Work with External Communications Co-ordinator to adapt and share reputational messages with colleagues as appropriate.
Support our Operations team with the best way to communicate to colleagues across our branches and distribution centres.
Utilising key material from the wider group (Tesco) to improve our community and charity engagement plan.

Experience relevant for this job:

Previous experience within a similar role, a background in communications or PR or degreed educated
Have experience of development and management of communications campaigns
Stakeholder management experience
